ROOTED AND READY
The full title I gave this photo is "Rooted in Community, Belonging to One Tree of Life," because that is the message she had for me. As I walked my circuit during those months, typically in eerie silence, she spoke to me of many things: preparation, readiness, nourishment and rest. But above all, it was a message to allow my roots to grow deep into this time, into this one life's expression of what it means to allow for receiving here and now.
