It is the second in a series of three experiences exploring the season of winter and the nature of rest. The photographs in the Seasons cycle explore the theme of reclamation, drawing on the wisdom of nature and the memory of the land. WINTER WALK #2 • PRESENCE, PERSPECTIVE, PURPOSE  • A SOUL STORY

  • Wrapping things up, she felt the chill on the wind, yet knew she would be held in this community.
  • This was her love song, her heart’s homage to the promise of Spring and the precious gifts of presence, perspective, and purpose found on her winding walks through the winter wood.
  • She was a turtle on the move and she felt sure she would find her way again. One day, she would fly and, when she flies, she will fly free.
