WINTER WALK #1 • WIND, WILDNESS, WONDER • A SOUL STORY
In the blur of the blizzard's aftermath, she set off on a winter walk.
A fierce wind blew and fought her with a howl that bent her to its will. At the same, time the mysterious winter wind opened her to wildness and to wonder.
Tell it slant, the strange and angled trees advised. But she knew not how and so stumbled on. Where one tree twisted in a tangled, mangled mess of melancholy, she stood reverent and in reverie.
The one part became two, then many, then still more—a folly, a force unexpected, a fugue, and...
After it all, the sure and steady rise of the winter mystics and a sunset salute.
