SHIPPING POLICY
This page covers shipping policies for New Dawn Studios and all original artwork, products, and services offered by Dawn Richerson, founder of New Dawn Studios, and other offerings sold through Soul Simple Innovation LLC. This policy is updated annually.

SHIPPING ONLINE ORDERS
We accept online orders for physical products, to include original paintings, to US and Canadian addresses and, when possible, to destinations worldwide. Look for shop notifications at the top of the home page and on product pages for notifications of shipping specials.
On most online orders, shipping is calculated automatically. Where required, such as with the purchase of original art being shipped to you, shipping charges will be processed as a separate transaction following your purchase. See below for details on shipping policies related to original art.

ANTICIPATED DELIVERY TIMES
Once your payment has been processed, your product begins its journey to you. Speed of delivery is dependent upon whether we are shipping direct, which is the case for some art prints and original paintings or through a third-party provider using sustainable inks and fine art, sustainably-sourced papers.
Delivery times are dependent on shipping method and sometimes affected by seasonal delays (aka holiday rush), so plan accordingly. We are not responsible for errors made by the United States Postal Service (USPS) or other carriers.
US—Generally, items shipped to the US using standard delivery options take between 5 and 10 days. For specialty and home decor products count on a few additional days for production. Any significant delays will be noted on product pages or on a sitewide banner. If you are concerned about delivery times, please order early or inquire using our contact form.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING DETAILS
[UPDATE: We are unfortunately suspending international shipments due to shipping delays and difficulties and supply chain issues. Please reach out directly to discuss international shipments, which we may resume on a case-by-case basis.]
Please read this section carefully. When we do ship internationally, we typically use USPS International Mail.
If an option is not currently available for your international order, please contact us to discuss shipment. We will research options and be in touch.
Please note that tracking is not available on international orders.
Delivery dates can vary due to customs requirements in some countries as well as variances in local postal service. For items being shipped internationally, expect up to 21 days. However, depending on local service delivery and customs, it can take up to six weeks to receive your items and this varies by country and region. Insurance is not available.
We cannot refund your purchase for lost, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages.
There may be duties, taxes, or other fees due before you can receive your shipment. These fees are beyond our control, and it is your responsibility to understand national, regional and local laws prior to making a purchase as you will be responsible for all such charges.
If a package is returned to us with unpaid customs fees, the buyer will have the option to receive a refund, minus the cost of shipping, or the buyer can repay shipping to resend the package. Note that the intended receiver of the package will be required to pay the customs fees for delivery to occur.
Please be absolutely certain that you understand any customs fees or taxes on incoming deliveries you may be responsible for prior to making a purchase. Researching this and knowing local, regional and national laws is the responsibility of the purchaser. All additional fees related to receiving an internationally shipped package are the sole responsibility of the person making the purchase from our site.
We are not responsible for delays due to customs. We are not responsible for any customs fees or taxes for delivery to countries outside the United States of America. All expenses related to delivery are the responsibility of the customer. Your purchase through our website for delivery to international address means you have agreed to the policies on this page.
SHIPPING ORIGINAL ARTWORK
Wherever possible, we love to hand-deliver original artwork! Original artwork is available for pickup and sometimes for local delivery within proximity to our physical location. Contact us to arrange.
Original paintings and most other physical products purchased from our website are packaged and shipped via USPS, UPS or FedEx Ground with a tracking number. Please allow up to 21 business days from the date of your order for delivery. If a painting cannot be shipped within the first 7 days of your order due to a painting being in an exhibition or Dawn’s travel schedule, someone from our website will be in touch to discuss this with you.
SHIPPING ORIGINAL ART PROCESS: We currently ship to locations in the US and Canada. Once you place your order, we will be in touch with details about the cost of shipping your selected artwork and anticipated delivery date. Please provide:
1) the name of the artwork you are interested in and a link to the web page where it is featured if available,
2) your name with a full shipping address and phone number for delivery purposes,
3) an email for shipping cost and invoice, payable online.
Please allow up to 5 days for a full estimate of shipping for larger pieces. If you would prefer to pay for the original painting and shipping in one invoice, contact us for a full amount with shipping. Note that for some smaller works of art, the price listed includes shipping. Contact us with questions about any specific piece of art.
Payment for shipping on original art is due in advance. There are no refunds for shipping costs.
Please include your phone number with your order so that, if necessary, the delivery carrier can contact you.
In the unlikely event that an original painting or art print shipped directly is damaged during shipping, you will receive a full refund or replacement if you provide all original packaging for the shipper’s inspection. Note that your refund for damage will be issued by the shipper and not by Dawn Richerson, New Dawn Studios or Soul Simple Innovation LLC. There are no exceptions to this policy.
