The World Beneath the World I See
At the edge of the fairy forest, she took a deep breath in and knew she was and would always be forever happy, free. This is an altered photograph inspired by the shapes and lines formed in all that was growing in a flooded landscape in County Roscommon, Ireland. The original photograph was taken after a heavy rain that turned to ice. The ice was thawing and it was as if there were worlds just beneath the thin surface. Removing some of the saturation and color, this is the scene that emerged, fairylike and filled with wonder.
The Alterations Most True collection includes photographs from the soul for the soul by Dawn Richerson. Connect you to your essential story of life with these altered photographs that reveal something of truth and beauty. This is also a part of my Fairy Wonderland Soul of Ireland Design Series.
