In the land there is the shadow of an ancient trembling, the echo of the first remembrance of that loss. And, too, there is the story of all the love that rushes in. The shipwreck in the Rosses region of County Donegal was an invitation to remember all that had been lost, to include the stories that slip from us as time passes.
From generation to generation, those who came before faced so many storms—some storms they did not survive. Those who did live were forever changed in the same way our own hearts can change when we pause to honor the stories of the souls who have lived and loved and lost in the lands we now traverse.
