I was swept up in the larger-than-life stories written in sheer walls of stone near Silver Strand in Malinbeg. Mythical creatures rose up from walls of grey dotted with hollowed-out caves that contrasted sharply with the azure waters in the quiet cove. The dramatic coastal scene called me into a deeper remembrance on a magical day as I listened to the wisdom of stone and sea at the far edges of the Donegal peninsula in the West of Ireland.
