STONE AND SKY
There they gathered, knowing this world was but a shadow and their presence to this truth an opening, a portal to the world above and the world beneath. Each must make a choice. Above the stone circle, the dragon bears witness to the progression of souls making their great return and to the elemental spirits who reside upon the fertile plains of Salisbury. Prehistoric Rocks is an interpretation inspired by visits to Stonehenge and is part of the Soul of England Collection.
In these prehistoric rocks, and in the clouds floating by, were written many mysteries. England's green and a peak through the veil into a mystery that belonged to another place and time sang to me. In the strangeness of the melody I found a familiarity, something strong and solid joining with the effortless ease of the cumulus cloud, full of life and blessings waiting to be showered down upon this land.
My Soul of England Collection is inspired by my visits to the UK and, specifically to England, including my first trip to Stonehenge and nearby sites with my family when I was around 12 or 13. Then and on future trips, the land and her people, the monuments and the moments, spoke to my soul and so much came alive for me.
