The view of the open water from Coney Island was full to the brim with life and movement. Even the Irish grey and a persistent mist could not dampen her delight looking out across the open water to the distant shore.
She watched the light skip across the surface of the water and the wind move the clouds through the sky all day and it was, all in all, the perfect Irish day wrapped up in wildness and in wonder.
