Long had her spirit soared through the rolling hills beneath the expanse of lonely sky, one eye ever on the memory buried in these mountains and her heart swirling with the interlocking spirals and what would live forever. And on this day, the tiptoe angels came a little closer, waltzing across the wing that remained unbroken.
The olive branch extended, late afternoon shadows stretched, bringing a new hope that she might fly free just a little longer in this blessed land.
