Arms upraised, head tilted from the weary journey, I came upon the form of the crucified Jesus as I followed my heart through the woods on my way to a place my soul remembered in the South of France. Still rooted here, his heart was beating in this land. Birds were singing that day and seemed to be telling the old story while also stirring with the song of new beginnings.
