THE LIGHT UPON HIS FACE
Passing through the blue door in the small chapel I happened upon in Salado, Texas, I entered into a chamber that echoed with remembrances. In the courtyard and on the pathway to and from the door were flashes of a shadowed past and a foreshadowing of a future filled with a golden beginning again. This was the moment between worlds. From stillness rose a song and the long-dormant garden bloomed again within my heart.
