At the top of the winding trail, one arrives at an overlook. Gazing out over Lough Key and Lough Arrow in the direction of Knocknarae, Ben Bulben and Sligo Bay beyond, I was struck by how the landscape came to life with epic stories.
Twisted by time, the lone tree at the top of the slope appeared both strong and fragile. It was to me a symbol of celebrating this single life and the stories we each bring to our singular role in place and time. We live lives fraught with peril, yet life is a journey so worth making.
This single life is a gift beyond measure.
