AT SUNSET WE RIDE
This painting is an interpretation of a desert scene outside of Taos, New Mexico, just after sunset on a rainy evening (June 23, 2016, during "monsoon season"). The slope of the dirt roads curved like an arching angel and the wind seemed to conjure three wild horses ready to run wild and free and awaiting the invitation to the open land beside the Rio Grande River Gorge.
With respect and honor for the call of Spirit, they await the invitation to surge into the open land. This was the vision I saw that night.
