On an overcast day, painting in an outdoor room with a view of the sea from Coney Island, a single white sailboat sailed in Sligo Bay. Behind it, the distinctive line of Ben Bulben, the mountain made famous by Yeats in his poem, paid homage to sole sailor on the sea. Yeat's poem:
